The KPCTA and the NPP Foundation would design the future training program for the elected participants to help them promote their businesses through the tourism sector and social media.
The training, the official added, would focus not only on providing proper amenities to tourists during home-stay but also on creating a home-like environment for tourists.
Under the home-stay program, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would provide interest-free loans to the youth, allowing them to prepare two rooms in their homes at tourist destinations for guest accommodation.
Umar Khan said that the aim was to provide complete training to selected hosts so they can offer the best possible hospitality services to tourists.
