ISLAMABAD, Business Cafe – The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), National Heritage & Culture Division, in collaboration with Dolphin Communication, will present a theatrical play based on the life and works of renowned Sufi poet, scholar and musician Hazrat Amir Khusrau on Monday, October 5, 2026.
PNCA will present a theatrical tribute to Amir Khusrau’s literary and musical legacy
Titled “Amir Khusrau – Khusro Shireen Sukhan, Tooti-e-Hind,” the play will pay tribute to the celebrated figure whose contributions to poetry, music and the cultural heritage of the subcontinent continue to hold a prominent place in South Asian literary and artistic traditions.
The production seeks to highlight different aspects of Amir Khusrau’s life and legacy, presenting his literary and musical contributions through theatre.
The play has been written by Arshad Chahal, while Asim Ismail Butt is serving as Executive Director and Producer. Waqar Azeem is directing the production.
The theatrical presentation will be held at 7:00 p.m. at PNCA, F-5/1, Islamabad.
Literary and cultural enthusiasts, along with members of the media, have been invited to attend the performance.
